i have decided

that my ipod and my cell phone dont like each other.. i came to this conclusion when i tried to record the song D-I-E 4 Y-O-U by family force 5 but when i was done and i tried to listen to it, i heard this high pitched eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound and if you listen really closly you can actually hear someone singing in the background and then in the end you can hear the chorus (if you know the song well enough) and ya it was just really weird how it made the screeching sound.. do you know why it did that? if you dont im just gonna stick to my theory that my i pod and cell phone dont like each other.

perhaps the sound frequency or maybe you were holding your phone too close to the speakers. have you ever gotten a call and your speakers start to hum? its a common problem, try turning the music up and holding the phone further away

Yea I suggest trying what Josiah said to do. Also I have determined that your Ipod doesn't like your phone bc the Ipod believes the phone has to came to take its place lol. IDK why I said that it just sounds funny and bc you said they don't like each other.

ya.. the volume was up all the way but i did move the phone back further and i could kinda hear the song.. but the first part is really annoying.

lol,bj, thats exactly what i was gonna type in my post but then it sounded stupid so then i didnt.

Try holding the phone at different distances and recording, maybe that will help you figure out a good distance. does your Ipod ever push your cell phone off the counter?

oh oh, new thought, sometimes phones can only record certain tones, try playing a song with a higher or lower voice, like a girl singer or a deep guy singer, maybe that will help.
